So you know . . . you will see custom images for some of the interviewees. These images are for people who are household names, clients, or alliance partners. Not everyone receives a custom image, nor their picture and name on the website.

We'll get the Streamyard link to you as we get closer to the broadcast.

DO NOT unmute yourself. When you are brought into the studio, you will automatically be unmuted.

Please leave the studio after the conclusion of your interview.

Prepare for questions such as:

  • Tell us about your invention, innovation, creation, or what you founded.
  • How did you know the world needed this?
  • What did you have to overcome to bring this to the world?
  • What’s the future of what you created?
  • Is there a way to demonstrate your invention or innovation?What’s the impact of what you created?
  • Who are the people who helped make this possible?

What works for this broadcast . . .

  • You must be on a computer — not a cell phone.
  • This is an interview format, as if you are being interviewed on ABC News. This is not an event where you will be offering a presentation.
  • You must be in the green room at least ten minutes before your stage time.
  • If you wish to have a commercial aired you must ensure we have it at least ten days before the event begins.
  • As a participant, we'd love for you to promote the event with at least one dedicated email and at least one social media post. We'll get you images and swipe copy.
  • Dress as if you were being interviewed on a major network, such as ABC; you want to look good.
  • Log in with good lighting and a background that is uncluttered or distracting.
  • We will be taking segments from some interviews to be posted on Vimeo and some on Binge TV. Hence, the requirements, such as no cell phone, great lighting, and a professional looking background. Should you wish for your interview to be considered for these postings, please adhere to what you are reading here.

What doesn’t work . . .

  • If you are not in the green room at least ten minutes before your screen time, you may forfeit your time and not be on air. We'd like to not have to track you down.
  • NOTE: Safari does not play well with Streamyard. Use a browser other than Safari.
